Dr. Kwan Jakobsen is a Board Certified D.O. specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Her expertise is in the fields of physical and rehabilitative medicine, Lymphedema, electro diagnostic testing, Musculoskeletal, manual medicine, as well as conservative spine care.

Dr. Jakobsen received her D.O. degree from he New York College of Osteopathic medicine in 1993 with honors and trained as an intern in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital. She completed her residency at the New York University Medical Center at the Rusk Institute of rehabilitative medicine. Medical training was also completed at Bellevue Hospital, the Hospital for Joint Diseases-Orthopedic Institute, Goldwater Memorial Hospital and the New York VA Hospital. Dr. Jakobsen is licensed to practice in the state of New York.
